Factional Warfare – Mission Team

Hiho,

this is a guide how to run Factional Warfare Mission without being able to fly Stealth Bomber or Cruisers/Strategic Cruisers. Here it comes: use Assault Frigates in a Team!
(not only that skilling Assault Frigates is faster, they also will be used more often than SBs)

Its not only a way to get money, its also a good way to practice flying with others – you have to use the same coordination as within a pvp-fleet.

How does it work?
First of all you need to know against which ships you will fly. Here are the options:
You are Gallente:
– you will fight Caldari State NPC
– they use ‚ECM‘
– they do kinetic (90%) and thermal (10%) damage
– they weakest resistance is kinetic

You are Minmatar:
– you will fight Imperial Amarr NPC
– they use ‚energy neutralizer‘ and ‚tracking disruption‘
– they do thermal (60%) and em (40%) damage
– their weakest resistance is em

You are Amarr:
– you will fight Minmatar Republic NPC
– they will use ‚target painter‘ and ‚webifier‘
– they do explosive (80%), thermal (15%) and em (5%) damage
– their weakest resistance is explosive

You are Caldari:
– you will fight Gallente Federation NPC
– they will use ’sensor dampener‘
– they do kinetic (60%) and thermal (40%) damage
– their weakest resistance is kinetic/thermal

Now that you know their damage and EWAR (electronic warfare), you can start build your specific Assault Frigates in order to run the lvl 4 missions with your mates. Here an example for the Gallente Missions only, which are the most complicated ones:

Advice: Since you can repair armor by yourself, use ‚Light Hull Maintenance Bot II‘ to repair others who failed to repair themself or didnt warp out and took hulldamage.

Explanation:
As you can see, all these ships are highly tanked into kinetic and thermal, but they also project their most damage into the lowest resistance (kinetic/thermal) of the NPCs. They are active tanked and capstable ~ 2min (if you are primaried, you will also get jammed by the NPCs, so you cannot use anything else than ‚Damage Control‘ and your reapairmods) and the focus is on high dps in order to rush through the missions. Minmatarian and amarrian ships struggle to deal the correct damage and to get optimal tank, but its better than having nothing else:

So now you have the correct ship, you gathered three more pilots and everyone of you accepted a complete missionset. Then you simply have to calculate a route comparing your mission-locations and enter them, followed by burning to the specific target and shoot it down. You do not know the Missions?
